Connecticut River Watershed Partnership
We are a thriving network of more than 70 public and private organizations and individuals whose collective efforts forge mutually beneficial partnerships and strengthen the health of the Connecticut River Watershed and the communities that live in and are served by it.
What We Do
Working cooperatively throughout the four state Connecticut River watershed, our network of federal and state agencies, non-profit organizations, regional planning agencies, municipalities, and other interests provides:
FORUM
We serve as a convener, bringing together a diverse group of public and private allied organizations and individuals to share information and resources, define mutual priorities, and collaborate to get more accomplished collectively in the watershed.
FOUNDATION
Together we aspire to foster a collective, inclusive, and shared watershed identity for all who live, work and play in the watershed.
FRAMEWORK
Building upon the partnership model of the Conte Refuge, we collaborate to advance the land, water, and trail projects that are the most timely and critical to achieve our shared goal of strengthening the health of the Connecticut River watershed and the communities that live in and are served by it.

The Connecticut River Watershed Partnership Act
The Connecticut River Watershed Partnership Act secures federal support to protect, restore, and enhance the watershed. It funds conservation, education, and recreation while strengthening climate resilience across the four watershed states.
