Join us to celebrate CRWP’s second annual Watershed Week from September 18th to 27th!
Hosted by many partners across all four watershed states, Watershed Week will increase awareness and promote recognition of the Connecticut River as a national treasure! Participants will get to know their local watershed and the organizations and volunteers who work hard to enhance, restore, and protect it.

Event websiteThe block party will take place on the Museum campus and feature a full day of events geared to all ages. Attendees can look forward to food and beverage vendors along with live music! Children will have the opportunity to take part in a variety of educational activities centered around history and nature. There will also have a variety of classic lawn games to play!

Join the Zoom meetingDr. Kirsten Martin, Program Director for Environmental Science at the University of Saint Joseph, has spent over a decade getting to know the Scantic River Watershed - a sub-basin of the Connecticut River - one water sample at a time. Join Dr. Martin and moderator Amber Lively for a live Zoom broadcast to explore this data, ask questions, and learn how these findings will help shape the Scantic River Watershed Basin Management Plan moving forward.

Living Waters ExhibitTour Watersheds from Around the World and Meet Their Live Animal Ambassadors! Living Waters serves as an introduction to ecosystems and climates from around the world. Visitors learn about different ecosystems and climates as they explore and compare different aquatic habitats from the Connecticut River watershed, North and South America, Africa, and the Pacific Ocean.
